Tell us a little about you:

My name is Elena Castro. I am one of seven children in my family. I was born in Salinas, California but grew up in Imperial County, California. I attended schools in the Calexico Unified School District and eventually worked for that district for 31 years. I am married and have two children. My family and I love the outdoors. One of our favorite activities is to go camping in State and National Parks. One of our favorite is Yosemite National Park in California.
